A Arte de Persuadir

"No Wall Street Journal, uma matéria sobre “a arte da persuasão” no ambiente de trabalho. “Managers say they increasingly must influence — rather than command — others in order to get their own jobs done”, diz a reportagem. A Economist também trata do tema, ao publicar matéria sobre o novo livro de Joseph Nye, “The Powers to Lead”. Um trecho: “Should a leader strive to be loved or feared? This question, famously posed by Machiavelli (ilustração ao lado), lies at the heart of Joseph Nye’s new book. Mr Nye (…) is best known for promoting the idea of ’soft power’, based on persuasion and influence, as a counterpoint to ‘hard power’, based on coercion and force.”
